Actor Fardeen Khan has been remanded in Narcotics Control Bureau till May 18 on the charge of possessing cocaine. Passing the order, additional special judge M S Keni fixed the next date of hearing, when the actor`s bail application could come up, for May 8. Fardeen, son of actor-director Firoz Khan, was arrested in Juhu area of north west Mumbai on Saturday by the central Narcotics Control Bureau for possessing nine gm of cocaine. He was picked up by the bureau along with two drug peddlers.
The young actor reportedly confessed that he had bought the cocaine from two peddlers for his personal consumption. He also said he had been taking cocaine for the past four months. The bureau had laid a trap acting on specific information that a drug deal was to take place near a Hongkong bank branch in JVPD scheme.

Fardeen arrived there in his Opel Astra car and proceeded towards an ATM to draw money. However, his card got stuck in the machine.

In the meantime, one of the drug peddler arrived in a taxi and sat in Fardeen`s car. When a deal was being struck between the two, the bureau sleuths swooped down on them.
