Beijing, Oct 23: Amid the nuclear stand-off between the United States and North Korea, Chinese top legislator Wu Bangguo will pay an official goodwill visit to Pyongyang, it was officially announced here today. Wu, ranked number two in the ruling Communist Party hierarchy, would lead a "state delegation" to visit Pyongyang from October 29 to 31 and meet with top leaders there, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue said. During this important visit, the two sides will have a friendly and in-depth exchange of views on regional and international situations and other issues of common interest, she said.
