New Delhi, May 03: Asserting that her party will have no alliance with BJP, BSP chief Mayawati today accused the "opposition" parties, who were "sad" at the growing influence of the Dalits, with spreading such rumours. "The question of an alliance with the BJP does not arise," Mayawati told a rally here and blamed opposition parties for spreading such rumours.

Launching a scathing attack on the congress she said "the Bahujan Samaj did not benefit in the 48-year Congress rule as the party did not address problems of unemployment and prestige of the Dalits."

Moreover, Congress had fielded Babasaheb Ambedkar's personal secretary against him when the Dalit leader decided to contest the general elections in 1952, she said.

Not sparing the BJP, Mayawati said the party had implicated her falsely in the Taj corridor case as the "CBI had failed to file its report in the matter to the Supreme Court."

"The Dalits should avenge the insults meted out to Ambedkar by defeating the Congress candidates in the Lok Sabha polls," she said.

As for the insults heaped on me by the BJP, "I shall surely avenge it with interest (byaj sahit badla jaroor loongi)," Mayawati said.
She said that the party decided to go alone in the Lok Sabha polls on the basis of its own assessment based on the party's previous performance.
