New Delhi, May 09: Reacting sharply to the Trinamool Congress president Mamata Banerjee inviting Mulayam Singh Yadav to join NDA, the Samajwadi Party (SP) today said there was no question of joining the BJP-led government. Instead, the party has a job on its hand to prevent the Nda from coming to power. ''The SP has always considered BJP as a divisive and communal force, hence there is no question of joining hands with it,'' SP general secretary Amar Singh told. SP general secretary said that his party could never forget that BJP was responsible for Gujarat riots and it (SP) could never correlate with the ideology of the BJP.
''We will make all-out efforts to prevent communal forces like the BJP from coming to power at the Centre,'' Singh said.
Ruling out any chance of a third front government at the Centre, Mamata Banerjee earlier today invited Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav to come to the NDA's fold.
