Lahore, May 08: Former Pakistan skipper Rashid Latif has roped in two other former players, Waqar Younis and Basit Ali, to train budding cricketers at his academy. The Rashid Latif Cricket Academy in fact boasts of an impressive panel of coaches for the next term.

''Waqar, myself, Younis Khan and Basit Ali will be on our main panel of coaches who will assist in the coaching clinics to be held in Karachi and also help in setting up cricket academies in the UK on the request of the Asian Community Cricket officials,'' Rashid said. He said Waqar had agreed to give time to the academy’s projects and would be looking after the bowling aspect.

''Younis Khan will be in charge of the fielding drills, Basit will take care of batting and I will scout for young wicketkeepers,'' he added. Bureau Report
