Moderate earthquake jolts northwestern Pakistan

The epicenter of the magnitude-5 earthquake was located in neighboring Afghanistan, at a point about 250 km from Peshawar, Pakistan's Meteorological Department said. The Pakistani government said it had sent special teams to the quake hit area to assess damages, if any.
