Buxur, Apr 10: Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today at a rally in Bihar exhorted people to give BJP another term of five years to end all the problems of development. Vajpayee was canvassing support for BJP leader Lalmuni Chaubey, who is a sitting MP from the constituency, and promised to provide employment to one-crore people if voted to power once again.
The Prime Minister said his government had already provided employment to 88 lakh people. Citing the problems of electricity, water and roads bogging the state, he said efforts would be made to eradicate these problems in the coming five years.
In a lighter vein, PM clarified an earlier statement when he had reportedly said that he is “Atal” but not a “Bihari”. This statement had caused a lot of resentment among the masses. This time around, Vajpayee said,“ I am both ‘Atal’ and ‘Bihari’.”
