New Delhi, Aug 24: Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi will arrive here today on a brief visit for talks with Indian leaders on a host of issues including the Iraq situation. Kharrazi will call on Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and hold wide-ranging discussions with External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha on bilateral and regional issues.
The two sides have a very close ongoing dialogue with regular exchange of visits, External Affairs Ministry spokesman told reporters earlier.
Besides the developments in Iraq, the situation in Afghanistan as also the Middle East peace process are expected to figure in the parleys.

Kharrazi had in January accompanied President Mohammad Khatami who was the chief guest at this year's Republic Day celebrations.
During the visit, both countries signed seven accords, including a landmark New Delhi Declaration in which the two sides agreed that the global fight against terrorism should not be based on "double standards".
Bottlenecks persisted on the Iranian proposal for an overland gas pipeline through Pakistan with India saying that Tehran and New Delhi will have to work out "mutually acceptable, secure and stable arrangements for transfer of gas". Bureau Report
