Ranchi, Nov 15: Terming it as one of its biggest achievements, BJP-led government in Jharkhand today gave appointment letters to 32,000 people on the third Foundation Day of Jharkhand. ''Giving jobs to 32,000 people is not a small thing. It is one of the biggest achievements of the Arjun Munda government,” BJP president Venkaiah Naidu said at a function to mark the occasion.
He said with the good understanding between the Centre and the state government, the pace of development projects in the state would be accelerated.
In a frontal attack on Congress, JMM and RJD, Naidu said the opposition had only one agenda to put blockades on the path of development.
''Be it in assembly, where they have made it a practice to walk out, or be it elsewhere, their only task is to raise voice against every development initiative,'' he said adding ''no obstruction could come in the way of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's pledge of taking the country to the path of prosperity.''
Listing out Vajpayee government's many projects relating to railway, highway, information technology, river, road etc., Naidu said "the international community is observing India's fast growth under Vajpayee's leadership...By 2020 India will be on the top of the world.''
