New Delhi, Nov 28: The CBI today questioned some of the employees of the Institute of Banking Personnel Services (IBPS), a semi-government organisation, which was responsible for printing of question paper for Combined Admission Test of Indian Institute of Management. A CBI team left for Mumbai alongwith one of the accused to question some of the employees of the printing press amidst allegations that the question papers were leaked from the press.

The accused, arrested by CBI, claimed that they had got the question papers from a lower rung employee of the press, CBI sources said.
IBPS has denied any involvement in the leaking of question papers and welcomed a CBI probe.

The next on the list for questioning were some members of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, which had the administrative control over this years' cat exams, the sources said.

This puts to rest all speculation that the agency had given any clean chit to any of the IIMS in the country.
Another CBI team for Patna alongwith Ranjit Singh alias Ranjit Don, alleged kingpin in the entire scam, to question some people, believed to be the backbone of his activities.

The team would question these people besides taking over the reports of various police stations against Ranjit Singh from the Bihar Police.
