Brussels, Oct 31: Pakistani Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri will visit Brussels next week for talks likely to be dominated by an olive branch to India, officials said today. The visit will follow talks this week in Brussels between European Union officials and External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha, although officials said the timing of Kasuri's trip was coincidental.

The Pakistani minister is scheduled to hold separate meetings with EU foreign policy envoy Javier Solana and external relations commissioner Chris Patten yesterday.

"The Pakistanis have already given some responses which were discussed in Solana's meeting with Sinha," a spokeswoman for the EU foreign envoy, Cristina Gallach, said.

"These will undoubtedly be discussed along with other international issues, such as Afghanistan, Iran and the fight against terrorism," she said.
