London, Nov 22: Colin Montgomerie and Bernhard Langer found their Ryder Cup form as the Rest of the World took a 3½-2½ lead over the USA in the UBS Cup.
The duo were unbeaten in three matches at The Belfry last year, earning two-and-a-half points out of three and also each winning their singles matches.
World captain Tony Jacklin duly paired them in Friday's foursomes as the annual match play event for the over-40s got underway.
And his decision paid off as they crushed Ray Floyd and Hale Irwin 5&3 at Sea Island, Georgia.
Jacklin himself then earned the second, combining with Nick Faldo to beat 74-year-old US captain Arnold Palmer and Rocco Mediate by one hole.
