New Delhi, Dec 28: The national capital today continued to reel under intense cold conditions with fog leading to cancellation or rescheduling of several flights and trains. Dense fog reduced the visibility to 100 metres during the night and did not allow visibility beyond 200 metres till this morning, making operation of flights and plying of trains virtually impossible.
The minimum temperature recorded was 7.6 degree celsius as compared to yesterday's eight degrees, Meteorological department said.
The Met department cited western disturbances as the main reason for the fog.
