New Delhi, July 03: Aviva Life Insurance today launched a SMS-based service, which would inform customer about premium payments and policy status on their cell phones. Aviva Life, the 74:26 joint venture between Dabur India and Aviva Plc of UK, has tied up with mobile internet solutions company Cellnext to provide the SMS-based customer service to more than 10,000 policyholders.
"Our customers are central to everything we do. We are continuously striving to streamline our processes to ensure that they are able to avail of global standards of insurance services," Aviva Life's CEO, Stuart Purdy, said launching the scheme here.
The SMS-based services to update policyholders about their policies as well as inform them about our products is another step towards improving customer services, he added.
Aviva Plc, the erstwhile CGNU Plc, is the world oldest insurance group with a history dating back to 1696 and has 25 million customers worldwide and manages 300 billion dollars worth of assets. Bureau Report
