Chennai, Dec 27: Defending champion Ajay Ramaswamy of Maharashtra was shocked by Davis cupper Harsh Mankad 2-6, 4-6 in the finals of the Indian Oil Servo All India Tennis Tournament at the Krishnan Tennis Centre. Harsh Mankad won the first set of the one and a half hour match comfortably, with his rival managing to take just two games.
The early part of the second set was an evenly contested affair with players holding serve till 3-3. Harsh dropped the seventh game, but rallied to take the next two and emerge victorious. Bureau Report
