Ankara, Mar 22: The pipeline that supplies Iraqi oil from the city of Kirkuk to Turkey's Mediterranean port of Ceyhan is still open and carrying crude but no tankers are waiting to be loaded, Turkish sources said today. "Oil is still flowing," said a Turkish shipping source. "But in a few days the flow may be cut due to lack of further storage capacity."

Shipping sources said there were no tankers waiting at Ceyhan.
Storage capacity at Ceyhan is about 6.5 million barrels and 11 of 12 oil tanks are used for storage, sources said.
The pipeline is the only outlet for Iraqi crude exports after UN oil inspectors left Iraq following suspension of an oil-for-food programme, effectively halting exports via Mina El-Bakr on the Gulf. Bureau Report
