Dhaka, Nov 05: The day-long "Kathin Chibor Dan" and National Buddhist Conference will be held tomorrow at the International Buddhist Bihar under the auspicious of Bangladesh Buddhist Federation. Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia is expected to inaugurate the conference as the chief guest and will open a large-size statue of Buddha which has been presented by the Thai government, a press release said.

Housing and Public Works Minister Mirza Abbas, Mayor of Dhaka city corporation Sadeq Hossain Khoka and State Minister for Religious Affairs Mosharef Hossain Shahjahan will attend the conference which will be presided over by Buddhist religious leader Dharmasen Mohathero. Diplomats, leaders of international Buddhist organisations, other religions personalities, monks and a large number of people will attend the ceremony. Bureau Report
