SIT`s plea to attach Telgi`s assets, bank accounts deferred
Mumbai, Dec 04: A special court in Pune has deferred till December 29 the plea of Special Investigating Team to attach properties of prime accused Abdul Karim Telgi and freeze 38 bank accounts operated by him and his family.

freeze 38 bank accounts operated by him and his family.
Special Investigating Team (SIT) has sought attachment of
Telgi's seven properties which include three flats in sunny
house building at Colaba in South Mumbai, one flat at 7, Cuffe
Parade building, Alankar guest house in Nagpada area of South
Mumbai, Thane Polyorganic Company in adjoining Thane district
and an office at Shalimar complex in a city suburb, SIT
sources said here.
Telgi and his wife had a major share in Polyorganic Company while Tejas Gote, son of accused and Samajwadi Janata Party MLA Anil Gote was a partner in this concern, the sources said.
SIT has also sought to freeze 38 bank accounts standing in the name of Telgi and his relatives. It has already written to these banks urging them not to allow the account holders to operate these accounts.

Telgi and his wife had a major share in Polyorganic Company while Tejas Gote, son of accused and Samajwadi Janata Party MLA Anil Gote was a partner in this concern, the sources said.
SIT has also sought to freeze 38 bank accounts standing in the name of Telgi and his relatives. It has already written to these banks urging them not to allow the account holders to operate these accounts.
