New Delhi, Oct 13: Canadian Foreign Minister Bill Graham will today hold wide-ranging discussions with his Indian counterpart Yashwant Sinha on the entire gamut of bilateral ties besides exchanging views on the Iraq situation, West Asia crisis and review progress in the ongoing war on international terrorism.
The two sides will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the foreign service institutes of the two countries.
Graham's four-day visit comes within weeks of Sinha's visit to Canada in the last week of September.
Ahead of his visit, Graham said in Ottawa "Canada is actively pursuing a broadly based political and economic relationship with India as evidenced by increasing high-level visits and last year's very successful trade mission to India".
"The discussions will focus on ways to further enhance the already strong bilateral relations--including commercial ties--and on regional security," a Canadian High Commission release said.

The Canadian Minister will also participate in a round table discussion on regional issues with leading Indian political and economic analysts.

Appointed as Foreign Minister in January last year, Graham has served as chairman of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade and as director of the Centre of International Studies at the Toronto University.
