Quetta, July 08: Pakistan will give cash reward for information on three people who carried out a suicide attack on a Shiite Muslim mosque last week killing 48 people, officials said. "The pictures of the dead terrorists will be publicised in newspapers and on televisions soon along with offers of up to two million rupees (40,000 dollars)," federal interior secretary Tasneem Noorani told a news agency yesterday. The top official said an inquiry by special federal and provincial investigators was underway into the bombing last Friday in Quetta, capital of southwestern Baluchistan province which borders Afghanistan and Iran.

"The government will spare no efforts to pursue and bring to justice those behind the dastardly attack," Noorani said. He said life was returning to normal in Quetta, where the authorities have relaxed curfews. Army and paramilitary soldiers were ensuring a round the clock vigil on the streets.

Noorani said the state security apparatus was in full gear seeking those behind the terrorist act. Bureau Report
