Mumbai, Oct 06: Cine actress Raveena Tandon, today took over as the Chairperson of the Children's Film Society of India at Peddar road in south-Mumbai. Speaking to the media, she said her first agenda would be to prepare for the Children's Film Festival scheduled to begin on November 14. Raveena said her efforts would be directed towards bringing children's films into the mainstream cinema. "Many of the children's films fail to get the attention not because they lacked in quality and quantity but because they were not incorporated into the mainstream cinema", she lamented.
She also came down on her detractors who doubted her credentials to take over the post, stating that many of them should be worried about their own careers.

Dressed in a white Lucknowi apparel, the Bollywood star, who was running temperature, arrived at the office this afternoon and interacted with the staff for a brief while. The star told the staff not to consider her to be "just a pretty face" and that she meant business.
