GSAT-2 successfully placed in geo-stationary orbit
Bangalore, May 12: Indian Space Research Organisation today said that its latest satellite, gsat-2, has been successfully placed in geo-stationary orbit.
Bangalore, May 12: Indian Space Research Organisation today said that its latest satellite, gsat-2, has been successfully placed in geo-stationary orbit.
The task was achieved after a series of critical operations conducted by commanding from master control facility at Hassan in Karnataka, an ISRO statement said.
Solar arrays and antenna of gsat-2, launched by GSLV-D2 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Shar, Sriharikota, on May 8, have also been deployed, ISRO said.
