PMK questions frequent shuffling of the ministry
Chennai, June 03: Pattali Makkal Katchi today criticised Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa for `frequently shuffling` of cabinet saying it leads to unnecessary increase in administrative expenses.
Chennai, June 03: Pattali Makkal Katchi today criticised Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa for "frequently shuffling" of cabinet saying it leads to unnecessary increase in administrative expenses.
"As many as seven ministers have been changed in the
backward classes ministry. Why these frequent changes in this
department alone?," PMK founder-president Dr S Ramadoss said
in a statement.
Reacting to a media report that the government, as part of economy measures, was planning to withdraw free bus passes to students, he said "while on the one hand, there are frequent shuffles, on the other the government is snatching away the students' concessions". Bureau Report
