Jaipur, May 25: BJP national office bearers today began discussions on the strategy for the coming assembly polls in five states, including Rajasthan, the general elections next year and organisational issues. The day-long meeting is being attended by deputy prime minister L K Advani, party president Venkaiah Naidu, vice-president P L Khanduri and general secretary Pramod Mahajan among others.

Mahajan told reporters before the start of the meeting that it would take up organisational issues and review preparation for the coming assembly elections in five states, including Rajasthan.
Khandelwal, while stating that organisational polls would be completed before the start of lok sabha elections scheduled next year, said it would be discussed at the meeting.
Treasurer Ram Das Agrawal, senior leaders Anita Arya and Sanghpriya Gautam are among 40 odd leaders attending the meeting which is a closed door affair and outcome would be known only at the press briefing in the evening.
Brahmin Mahasabha demonstrated outside the venue of the BJP meet demanding 15 per cent reservation in jobs for economically week members of the caste.
Led by local leaders Somendra Sharma and Surendra Sharma, the demonstrators, with their mouths tied with cloth bands, dispersed after sometime.
