Pawar calls like-minded parties to fight secular forces
Solapur, June 08: NCP leader Sharad Pawar has appealed to all like-minded parties to come together to fight secular forces `to save the country from total chaos created by ruling National Democratic Alliance at the Centre`.
Solapur, June 08: NCP leader Sharad Pawar has appealed to all like-minded parties to come together to fight secular forces "to save the country from total chaos created by ruling National Democratic Alliance at the Centre".
Criticising the Centre of total failure on all fronts,
Pawar said "the government neglected the problems of
agriculture, industries through out the country. It failed to
keep unity of the nation.”
Pawar was speaking on the occasion of laying foundation stone of Rs 8.71 crore water scheme of Comred Godutai Parulakar Mahila Vidi Kamgar Sahaakari Grihnirman Sanstha at Kumbhari near here.
Pawar further alleged "the NDA government promotes bloodshed to diminish the minority communities in the country. The internal security was never in danger as it is now under the ruling of NDA government".
Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, who was the chief guest of the function, in his speech elaborated his government's endeavour to give social justice to the unprotected workers.
"My government is pro-poor. Our intention to uplift the grassroot level people is reflected in the recent budget", Shinde said.
State Finance Minister Jayant Patil, Power Minister Padamsingh Patil, Housing Development Minister Sayyad Ahmed, Dairy Development Minister Anandrao Devkate also spoke on the occasion.
