Moscow, Aug 04: Authorities have detained two people in connection with the suicide attack on a military hospital in southern Russia, Russia's deputy prosecutor general Sergei Fridinsky was quoted as saying by a news agency. He said the two recently sold the truck that was later packed with explosives and detonated on Friday evening at the hospital in the southern Russian town of Mozdok. The attack, blamed on Chechen separatist rebels, killed at least 50 people. Fridinsky did not reveal the identities of the two suspects. He said investigators hope they will reveal the names of other suspects during questioning.
The Russian prosecutors' office has opened an investigation into "terrorism" and "premeditated murder" as a result of the attack. Bureau Report
