Raipur, Nov 18: Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani today said Chhattisgarh needed to have a BJP government for better development of the state. Kicking off BJP's election campaign in the state, he said "for better development of the state, there is a need to have a BJP government here also as in the last three years the state government had disappointed the people."
BJP fulfilled the promise in its election manifesto when Chhattisgarh was formed, Advani said addressing election rallies at Kanker, Dhamtari and Mahasamund.
When the new state was carved out, people had high hopes about its development. But the Congress government had disappointed them, he alleged.
Advani asked the people to look at the good work of the BJP-led government at the Centre and vote for the party to provide a good government in the state also. The NDA had the courage to make the country a nuclear nation and was determined to make India a developed nation by 2030.
