Srinagar, Sept 14: Army today arrested two local militants of pro-Pakistan Hizbul Mujahideen outfit and seized arms and ammunition, including 10 kgs of RDX, in Pulwama district of south Kashmir, a defence spokesman said. The two have been identified as Bashir Ahmad Laway and Mohammad Ayub Reshi, residents of Noorgam.
Troops recovered 10 kgs of RDX, two UBGL grenades, one RPG, one AK rifle, a pistol, two detonators and some rounds of ammunition from them, the spokesman told this evening.
He said troops also smashed a militant hideout in Kupwara district and recovered two UBGL grenades. Bureau Report
