Lucknow, Jan 08: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati's security has been tightened following intelligence reports indicating increased threat to her life, a senior official said today. The latest measure makes it mandatory for every visitor to subject himself to be photographed before they could enter CM's residence or her office, SP in charge of CM's security R C Sahu said adding visitors are being issued photo-passes before they could enter her Kalidas Marg residence. Close circuit cameras have also been installed at both places to keep a close watch on the people visiting her.
Besides the installation of cameras, security for Mayawati's convoy has also been heightened with the inclusion of a Jammer car and 11 look-alike white ambassador cars with numberless plates, he said. Bureau Report
