Lucknow, Mar 23: Questioning secular credentials of the Archaeological Survey of India's operation at the disputed site in Ayodhya, the All India Sunni Central Wafk Board has moved a court demanding an equal number of Muslim and Hindu labourers for the digging work. The board has moved the court demanding equal number of Hindu and Muslim labourers be deployed to carry out digging, Zafaryab Jilani, counsel of the Sunni board said
"I had given a notice in this regard to the court on Thursday," he said.

The case will come up for hearing on March 24.
During hearing the Sunni board would question the secular credentials of ASI team carrying out the digging, said Jilani.
In August, 2002, the court dealing with the Ayodhya case had ordered that the excavation, if carried out, should be done under the supervision of a five- member expert panel, including two Muslim archaeologists.
As per that order, the excavation team should have two Muslims, said Jilani. In the present 14-member ASI team, there is only one Muslim A A Hashmi. Bureau Report
