Ahmedabad, Aug 06: At least seven senior officials of Gujarat Police along with those from other states of the country would interact with their counterparts in the United Kingdom at a conference next month to discuss various aspects of crimes and how to control them. "The 3-day conference will be held for better understanding of the cultures of both the countries and also to exchange ideas and experience on various forms of crime", s S Khandwawala, additional director general (training) told a news agency here today.

Issues pertaining to cyber crime, forensics and information on other related subjects would be discussed between September 4 and 6, he said.

Indian police officials would also meet non-resident Indians to discuss various issues. A similar conference was hosted by Indian government last year in new Delhi when close to 50 officials from UK had visited the country.
