Agartala, June 18: Night curfew has been imposed for the next three months in parts of west Tripura district adjoining Indo-Bangla border to check militant movement from across the border, official sources said today.

The sources said Bachaibari, Sukhiabari, Karangicherra
and Singicherri villages of Khowai sub-division along the
International Border have been brought under the night curfew.
The prohibitory orders were issued by district magistrate yesterday and will remain in force for the next three months.
Curfew was imposed due to sudden spurt of subversive activities in border areas, sources said.
