Indore, Oct 27: Lok Sabha speaker Manohar Joshi today said a committee headed by the deputy speaker has been constituted to look into the security aspect of the Parliament after the December 13 attack. Talking to reporters informally at ‘pitra parvat’, where Joshi planted a mango sapling in memory of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, he said the committee would suggest measures relating to security aspect of the Parliament.
“We are also taking steps to prevent recurrence of such incident”, he said.
Joshi refused to comment on Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray's suggestion on formation of Hindu suicide squads.
Referring to the reforms in the house specially with regard to the member's behaviour, Joshi disapproved of the way members conducted themselves while protesting. He said he was against their coming into the well of the house or bringing adjournments on unnecessary issues.

The speaker said a proposal to telecast live the entire proceedings of the Parliament including the zero hour was pending with the house.
Commenting on the trend towards fractured verdict by the electorate resulting in coalition governments, Joshi said Indian democracy has been appreciated all over the world.
“Despite hung verdict, the best thing about it is that there is no threat to the democratic system”, Joshi added. Bureau Report
