Lisbon, May 19: Porto coach Jose Mourinho included injured key midfielder Francisco Costinha in a 23-man squad yesterday for Wednesday's Uefa Cup final against Celtic.
In a statement, Porto said that Costinha took part in a special but extensive training session with the rest of the squad and had ''practically recovered'' from a muscle he pulled in a league match against Pacos Ferreira a week ago. The squad also included injured defender Nuno Valente, who also took part in training and ''proved to Jose Mourinho he will also be fit to face Celtic''.

If both Costinha and Valente are fit, then Mourinho will have no more injury worries and only suspended striker helder Postiga will be absent from the team which has already secured the Portuguese league title.

Vying for a place up front alongside Derlei Silva, the Uefa Cup's top scorer this season, will be Nuno Capucho and Edgaras Jankauskas, who both scored in Porto's 3-2 home win over Varzim on Saturday. The squad will train again in Oporto on Monday morning before flying to Seville, where they will train again on Tuesday at the Olympic Stadium before Wednesday's final.
