New Delhi, Apr 16: Keenly watching the crisis within the ruling Congress in Kerala, the CPI-M today deliberated on the issue at its polit bureau meeting here. The CPI-M feels the situation in Kerala is "fluid" and is likely to make its moves against the UDF government if the Congress takes disciplinary action against rebels in the party, party sources said.
The party polit bureau, which held its two-day meeting here ending this afternoon, decided to hold its central committee meeting in Thiruvananthapuram from June 7 to 9.
The polit bureau also discussed the assembly elections in four states - Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and Chattisgarh - to be held later this year. Though the left does not have a presence in any of these states, the CPI-M sees the BJP as its biggest enemy.
The Iraq situation, Jammu and Kashmir and Ayodhya also came up at the meeting.
