New Delhi, June 16: Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda today asked state cadre bureaucrats posted in Delhi to "work for the state in the national capital". Speaking at the foundation stone laying ceremony for the Jharkhand Bhavan here, he asked the bureaucrats to remember that "the state was created with a lot of hope" and to keep in mind that "many in the state are deprived of basic necessities" while discharging their duties in the capital.
Asking the officials to keep themselves informed about the developments in the state, he said "you have to give information (to Jharkhand), take information and also do your work" and hoped that the Jharkhand Bhavan will be an enabling factor in helping them discharge their duties.
"It is unfortunate only Jharkhand does not have its own bhavan in the capital,” he said adding that "people from the state, ministers and officials were staying in hotels and guest houses".
Munda also came down sharply on the Bihar government for "not taking care of the matter after the division of the state".
