New Delhi, July 30: Government today said technical snags in the just acquired frontline T-90 tank have been rectified and they are now fully operational. A defence ministry spokesman said that T-90 tanks, like any other inducted equipment, had a few "teething problems" which have since been removed to the full satisfaction of the users.
The rectification had been carried out by Russian warranty team stationed in India for the purpose.
"T-90 tanks are also fitted with the state-of-the-art night vision devices and are excellent fitting machines," the spokesman said. Bureau Report
