Kohima, Oct 16: Security forces in Nagaland have asked underground cadres of the NSCN (both Khaplang and Isak-Muivah factions) to return to their designated camps
immediately, failing which the forces "will be forced to enforce" ground rules of the cease-fire agreement.
As per the cease-fire ground rules, the cadres should confine themselves to the designated camps identified by truce surveillance mechanism to avoid confrontation with rival groups for creating a congenial atmosphere in the state.
Assam Rifles sources said today that cadres of both the factions have been found moving with arms in civilian dress in towns and villages, extorting money from common people.
The sources said that recent operations carried out in collaboration with state police have led to arrest of several cadres and seizure of arms.
