New York City, Mar 09: Heavyweight boxer Evander Holyfield to seek world heavyweight championship title for fifth time.
Back in the fight with a new management team, boxer Evander Holyfield says he will return to the ring. This time he'll be fighting for his fifth world heavyweight title. The 41-year-old says, while his career has waned in the last few years, he still has the drive and strength to win another title. But the odds may be against him. He's won only two of his last eight fights, and in the past has dealt with health issues. Asked if he should box in a lighter division, Holyfield says training for a heavyweight fight motivates him to be his best. "Now everybody's seen that, they look at me like it's something new. I'm just starting. You know it's nothing new," he says. "From the time that I lost the first time all I wanted to do was get all three belts back. Unfortunately since it's been awhile I been able to get the title four times but you know it's not about history. It's about how you're supposed to finish. And I will finish as undisputed heavyweight champion of the world."

If all goes as planned, Holyfield plans to fight this summer. He's changed his management team citing that his former representatives gave up on him. The new team, Avondale Managment Group has extensive experience in the entertainment industry but little in the boxing world.

Nevertheless Holyfield and his new handlers feel with the right matchup he could once again climb to the top in the boxing arena.

"If I didn't feelt that I could win, I wouldn't even go in there. It's not to just win one of the titles. It's not just to win two of the titles. But it's for me to get all three titles and if I was just going back for one title I wouldn't be fighting. That's no reason because it's not about saying I got the belt five times. I told everybody I am going to retire the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world," says Holyfield.

Holyfield says his shoulder, which has plagued him in the past is healed and he is ready to take on a opponent, who has yet to be selected.
