Chandigarh, June 12: In a fresh warning to Shiromani Akali Dal chief Parkash Singh Badal, Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh today said that investigating agencies have "plenty of evidence" against the Akali leader to produce him before the court and obtain his arrest warrant. "A fool proof case is being prepared by the investigating agencies against Badal. Suitable evidence against him will be presented in court and it will direct the arrest of the Akali leader," the Chief Minister told reporters here.
"Facts would be there against Badal. Let the judge decide (on his arrest)," he added.

Singh alleged that the former chief minister had amassed properties worth Rs 3500 crore in foreign countries.

He said the investigations against Badal have been continuing for the past 14 months and "have now reached a conclusive stage."
The Chief Minister refuted allegations that there was any political vendetta in the case against Badal.

Badal had recently claimed that he had "authentic information" that he would arrested within a few days.
