New Delhi, July 31: Condoling the death of Ram Janambhoomi Nyas Leader Mahant Paramhamsa Ramchandra Das, the RSS today hit out at the country's "unduly delaying judicial system" and vowed to carry forward the struggle for building a Ram Temple at Ayodhya to its "logical end at the earliest".
In his condolence message from Nagpur, RSS chief K S Sudarshan said the Mahant carried on his struggle for constructing a magnificent temple at Lord Ram's birthplace
since 1949 to his last breath.
"The fearless warrior saint knocked at the doors of every court to get justice for his cause but could not witness the starting of the actual construction work during his lifetime and departed carrying that pain in his heart.
"This is a sad commentary on the unduly delaying judicial system of our country where any tom, dick and harry can go on prolonging the dispensation of justice," he said.
Describing the "last pilgrimage" of the Mahant as the "end of a glorious epoch", Sudarshan said the onerous responsibility of fulfilling his unfinished task has fallen on the shoulders of the Hindu society.
"Let us all dedicate ourselves to carry on his struggle further and take it to its logical end at the earliest. This only will be a fitting tribute to him," he said.
