New Delhi, Oct 22: As a build up to Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's visit to Nagaland later this month, state BJP chief Mozamo Ngullie met him tonight and is understood to have apprised the political situation in the state as also in the region. Mozamo apprised Vajpayee about ongoing developmental projects in the state as well as the necessity for a comprehensive development package for the state, where the party is a coalition partner in the government, sources said.
In the backdrop of peace talks with NSCN I-M and the centre's efforts to restore peace in Nagaland, Vajpayee would undertake a politically significant visit to the state early next week and would be inaugurating some developmental projects.
