London, Dec 20: Lord Swraj Paul, leading NRI and British Ambassador for overseas business, has been chosen for the lifetime vocational award for business and industry by the rotary club of Mumbai downtown.
Lord Paul, who will be on a three-week visit to India from tomorrow, will receive the award at the rotary international annual district conference 2003 on January 11. He will also deliver the keynote address at the conference on "India - The Task Ahead."
After spending a week in Delhi, Lord Paul, who is also the co-chairman of India-UK round table, a forum for furtherance of the bilateral ties, will spend nine days in Kolkata where he will deliver the annual Surrendra Paul memorial lecture at Ramakrishna mission institute on 'Indian values in the 21st century' on December 28.
