Lucknow, Jun 02: In a shot in the arm for Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati, nine Independent legislators, whom the opposition claimed were ready to cross floor, today said they would continue to support the BSP-BJP government in the state. In a signed statement, the legislators said they would continue to support the Mayawati government. After the Rashtriya Lok Dal walked out of the Mayawati government, the opposition claimed some of the Independent legislators were ready to cross over to them. "The opposition claim is nothing but a bundle of lies," the legislators said. The nine Independent legislators are Amar Singh Yadav, Mithilesh Kumar, Mahesh Trivedi, Madan Bhaiya, Devendra Nagpal, Vijay Singh, Hoshiyar Singh, Jitendra Kumar Jaiswal and Mukhtar Ansari.
