Ranchi, Mar 14: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) supremo Sibu Soren accompanied by opposition leader in the assembly Stephen Marandi met Congress president Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi last night and discussed in detail the proposed pre-poll alliance between the two parties. JMM sources said that the JMM leaders had placed their demands including the demand for fielding candidates in six seats.
However, they declined to divulge the details of the discussions.
RJD supremo and former Bihar chief minister Laloo Prasad Yadav is also expected to meet Gandhi to finalise the alliance issue.
