Vinod Raghuvanshi, was in such a deep slumber when the incident took place, that he didn't even realize that there was a foot-and-a-half-long snake inside his mouth.

The most weird part is that he didn't realize he had bitten off the snake's head in his sleep! It was only when his mother entered his room the next morning and screamed upon seeing the blood on his face, that it dawned upon him. The remaining part of the snake was still wriggling on the floor.

Raghuvanshi, who is a resident of Kulkarni Ka Bhatta in Indore, was rushed to the hospital and injected with an anti-venom immediately. He is absolutely fine.

The incident took place on September 8, after Raghuvanshi, who works at a petrol pump returned home after finishing a tiring shift and dozed off.

The Times of India quoted his mother, Rampyari, saying that, "I saw blood on his face and a headless snake lying on the floor. He told me that something had dropped into his mouth and he chewed it. I was terrified and took him to 'Peer Baba', who gave him a powder and he vomited out the head of the snake.

As per TOI, earlier this year, a tribal in Jharkhand had bitten a krait and killed it. He died 12 hours later. Similarly, three years ago, a man in Nepal had chewed a cobra to death after it bit him in a paddy field. He survived.
