NALCO gives 11 primary schools to cyclone-hit Orissa
Public sector National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has completed construction of 11primary schools under Prime Minister`s National Relief Fund in the cyclone-hit Cuttack district of Orissa.
Public sector National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has completed construction of 11primary schools under Prime Minister's National Relief Fund in the cyclone-hit Cuttack district of Orissa.
These buildings, after construction, were handed over to the district collector of Cuttack, P K Jena on Friday, a company release said.
About 1000 primary school-cum-cyclone shelters were being constructed in cyclone affected areas of coastal Orissa under the relief fund. Of these, NALCO had been entrusted with the construction of 144 schools at a cost of Rs. 4.7 crore. Bureau Report
