Finnish government on Wednesday welcomed Indian Information Technology professionals to explore immense possibilities for collaboration between the two countries in the IT sector.
Finnish Foreign Trade Minister Kimmo Sasi, who called on Union Commerce Minister Murasoli Maran in New Delhi, also underlined the scope for increasing trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the Indian side expressed concern about non-trade barriers which was hindering trade while reiterating India's commitment to multilateral trading system, an official release said.
The Finnish delegation also called on Minister of State for Commerce Omar Abdullah.
Abdullah underlined the need for regular exchanges at both government and business levels for maximising trade and investment opportunities. Bureau Report
