In a major administrative reshuffle, Uttar Pradesh government on Friday night transferred 17 IAS officers appointing five of them as secretaries to Uttaranchal state, which will come into existence on November one. Secretary (Finance) Indu Kumar Pandey and Secretary (Technical Education) Nrip Singh Napalchiyal have been posted as secretaries to Uttaranchal state, an official release said. Secretary (Social welfare) P C Sharma has also been appointed secretary, Uttaranchal, it said. Additional Director, Administrative Training Institution, Nanital, Rakesh Sharma, and Brijendra Pal, Secretary Dehradun, are the other two officers posted to Uttaranchal.
