An MI-17 helicopter of the Indian Air Force, on a ration sortie with seven crew members crashed on Monday in a remote hanker village off Arunachal Pradesh`s west Siang district injuring all on board, three of them seriously, informed the official sources on Wendesday in Itanagar. The sources quoting the delayed reports informed on Wednesday that the chopper had come from Roroiah Airforce base near Jorhat in Assam and had picked up ration from the district head quarters. “After the crash another chopper from the airbase had rushed to the spot on a rescue mission,” they said.
